Happy Mother's Day!

We had such a wonderful Mother's day here today. We didn't do a whole lot but spent the whole day together which is why think it was so nice. We took a few more pictures of Max today but most of these were with his Mommy. We snapped a nice family picture before heading out the door to church.

Then once we got back from Church Max slipped into something more comfortable, and you aren't going to believe what I walked in the living room to see. Max was watching the Cubs game in his Mom's chair!

Careful there buddy, I don't want you to spill your milk!We hope that all of you had a wonderful Mother's day, and we hope to see you all soon.

Before coming home from Matt & Nichole's wedding weekend we stopped in to check on Grandma & Grandpa and to see my dad and family. It was a nice little stop before making the drive back home. The girls were just so excited to see Max and to get to hold him for the first time. We miss you guys and can't wait to see you when you come to Des Moines!

Picture Day

Max heard that Brody and Olivia got to have their pictures taken last weekend and he didn't want to be left out so he begged us to have a picture day today. Well not really but he humored us most of the day with some good shots. He is 3 months old on Mother's day, and he weighed 12 lbs - 10 oz. on Wednesday at his check-up. We know this is a lot of pictures but being as biased as we are we thought all of them were great! For those of you that were complaining that we hadn't updated the blog for a while (Brandon) we added some extra pictures this time! :)

I'm tired of taking pictures Mom & Dad!We're going to try to get some pictures up here from Matt & Nichole's wedding weekend as well, we're hoping to get it done tomorrow.

Check up

Max had his 2 month check up on Monday and he's doing just great. He weighed 11lbs - 4 oz. and was 23.5" long. Here are a few pictures of him from last week, you can see how expressive he's getting. It's so fun to talk with him and play now, it's amazing how quickly he is changing and learning.

Max's Baptism

Max got baptized last weekend at New Hope United Methodist church. Pastor Neil Cross held the service and he did a wonderful job as usual. Unfortunately church ran a little late and we had to leave to meet our dinner reservations so we'll have to get some more formal pictures soon. Here are a few from the service. Mark & Jill are Max's god parents, and we're so happy that they are. It was a very nice weekend and we were so happy that our friends and family were able to be there with us to celebrate.

Baby Gap look out

Tara and I had some time this afternoon and we thought we would see if Max was ready to have a photo shoot in the studio. He did very well, and we were able to get some awesome shots. It was hard to narrow it down and we might have to add some others in the future, just because he is so dang cute! We're pretty sure he's ready to be put into the Baby Gap catalog.
